'We're Healers': Prussian Blue Twins Now Say - Lamb, Lynx Gaede Use Medical Marijuana, Mellow Out

Jun 28, 2012
The sisters Prussian Blue band was split following the band's 2006 European tour.

"We're healers," say former pop group Prussian Blue twins Lamb and Lynx Gaede.

It wasn't always that way.

The Gaede girls sparked outrage with their pop group, formed in 2003, named Prussian Blue.

Even though the two were Holocaust deniers they named their group after a by-product of the poison used to gas millions of Jews in the Holocaust and spouted racist beliefs.

HuffPo reminds they penned race hate pop tunes entitled "Hitler Is Our Hero," and "Aryan Man Awake," and were filmed performing Nazi salutes on stage.

That's now over.

Lamb and Lynx Gaede have abandoned their racist beliefs and have become 'pretty liberal'... with the aid of medical marijuana.

ABC reports the two have changed.

"I'm grown up now. I was a little kid back then and said a lot of things I don't believe in now," Lynx told ABC News.

The two were home schooled and credit moving to Montana – and attending public school there – for truly opening their eyes and giving them new perspectives on life, the report reveals.

"My sister and I were home-schooled. We were these country bumpkins…. it makes me proud of humanity every day that we have so many different places and people," Lynx said.

Medical marijuana credited...

The UK Daily Mail reports Lynx was diagnosed with cancer during her freshman year of high school, when doctors removed a tumor from her shoulder.

The report adds:

She was prescribed OxyContin and morphine to deal with the pain. She also suffers from a rare condition called cyclic vomiting syndrome.

About two years ago, she began smoking to ease withdrawal symptoms and nausea.

'I have to say, marijuana saved my life,' she said. 'I would probably be dead if I didn’t have it.'

We're healers...

'We just want to come from a place of love and light,' Lamb said, adding, 'I think we’re meant to do something more - we’re healers. We just want to exert the most love and positivity we can.'

'I'm glad we were in a band, but I think we should have been pushed toward something a little more mainstream and easier for us to handle than being front-men for a belief system that we didn't completely understand at the time,' Lynx told the Daily Mirror.

The sisters Prussian Blue band was split following the band's 2006 European tour and they moved to Montana.

They now want to live in peace.
