The weekly magazine reports that Luke Wilson shocked onlookers on November 9 when sources say he pointedly refused to help his co-star, Kate Beckinsale, 33, with a tricky shot on the set of their upcoming thriller, Vacancy.

“I think that’s a jerky thing to do,” a witness fumed. “What, Luke’s too good to help Kate?” Star then reports that actually, Luke would love to help Kate, just a different Kate- Kate Hudson, his co-star in 2003’s Alex & Emma!

"Nothing happened then, but it seems like Luke developed this intense crush on her that never went away,” says a source. And now, sources say that Luke’s passion for Hudson, 27, may not only be causing his bad behavior, it’s leading him toward a major showdown with her current beau- his older bro, Owen.

Nonetheless the chatty source tells the weekly entertainment magazine that Owen and Kate’s relationship “must be killing Luke.” Lovelorn Luke “seems to be in a bad mood. He doesn’t talk or socialize- he looks puffy, too,” says the source.
