The X Factor USA 2012 top 16 acts took the stage this week, and four will be eliminated tonight Nov. 1, 2012 leaving the singing competition that concentrates on that 'X Factor' with the top 12 acts who will compete for a $5 million record deal.

The contestants are divided this way for season two.

Britney Spears' leads a team of teen acts while Simon Cowell leads four group acts.

Demi Lovato is teamed up with the young-adult contestants and L.A. Reid is paired with singers older than 25.

Here are the remaining 16 contestants left on the show and the songs they sang on Halloween night.

Eight will be safe tonight while eight will have to sing to avid elimination.

Of those eight, four will stay and four will go home tonight.

That will leave the top twelve from these performers.

Young Adults - Cece Frey (sang "Because The Night" by Patti Smith)

Over 25s - Tate Stevens (sang "I Thought I Was Tough" by Craig Morgan)

Teens - Beatrice Miller (sang "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz)

Over 25s - Jason Brock (sang "Dance Again" by J.Lo)

Groups - 1432 (Sang "We Are Never Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift)

Young Adults - Willie Jones (Sang "Here For The Party" by Gretchen Wilson)

Teens - Carly Rose Sonenclar (Sang "Something's Got A Hold On Me" by Etta James)
